Verizon Wireless has just announced the HP Pavilion dm 1-3010nr Entertainment PC with 4G LTE which will be available online at www.verizonwireless.com beginning on July 28.Previously announced at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show and powered by Verizon’s 4G LTE network, the HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr allows customers to stream high-definition content; play games; video chat; and download music, photos and videos within seconds rather than minutes.... That’s right! iPhone and Verizon have made thier deal official! As early as February 11th (Feb 3rd for pre-orders), all you Verizon customers will be able to use Grindr to you hearts delight on the wonderful iPhone platform! The only hitches…it won’t use Verizon’s 4G network and can’t browse the web while taking a call. Oh shucks. We guess you’ll just have to tell all your friends to find you on Grindr!... Read more

Move over iPhone 4. You’ve ruled the airwaves long enough! Verizon is taking front and center stage on July 15th with the arrival of their much anticipated Droid X Smartphone. This latest Droid (July 15th – $200) stands up to the iPhone with features like a 4.3 inch screen, Flash Compatibility, 8GBs of storage (+ a pre-installed 16GB memory card), 8 Megapixel camera, 720p video recording, HDMI out, and the Android 2.2 OS. While its probably targeted more towards your younger teenage brother, something tells us that us gay guys will find something alluring about the new Microsoft’s Kin and its social media uses. The phone uses a unique interface that integrates all your favorite social media services while also making it easy to share information. The phone also features built-in Zune software for access to all your music, movies, games, and the Zune marketplace. Kin will be available in two models: The compact Kin One (above) which features a 5 megapixel camera and 4GBs of storage and the Kin Two which has a wider screen, 8 megapixel camera capable of HD Video, and 8GBs of storage. Motorola with the one-two punch to the iPhone! They’ve gone and released a fully featured smartphone which will be the first on the market to use Google’s Android 2.0 operating system. The device sports a large 3.7” inch touchscreen display, slide-out keyboard, 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, 16GBs of storage, integrated Gmail and Exchange push support, and the ability to run multi-applications at once. Now that’s definitely something we wish the iPhone could do. A feeling that Motorola and Verizon are banking on you sharing given their Microsoft-esque campaign. But the deeper question here is will Verizon’s association with this phone hamper the alleged deal-making they’re in with Apple to start carrying the iPhone….... Read more
