Why you can’t truly multitask on the iPhone will forever remain one of those Apple mysteries (or conspiracies), but thanks to a new app you can enjoy more convenient multitasking during Web surfing. The iDroid Mini Browser app enables iPhone and iPod Touch users to enjoy up to four different tabs on the bottom of the screen–not exactly the experience you enjoy on your laptop, but at least you can easily bounce from tab to tab.... Looking at the iType, the first thought you may have is…”this isn’t the Apple Tablet!” and no it is not! But face it, you probably paid a good penny for that iPhone of yours and maybe you don’t want to lose it the second the Tablet is announced. Motorola with the one-two punch to the iPhone! They’ve gone and released a fully featured smartphone which will be the first on the market to use Google’s Android 2.0 operating system. The device sports a large 3.7” inch touchscreen display, slide-out keyboard, 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, 16GBs of storage, integrated Gmail and Exchange push support, and the ability to run multi-applications at once. Now that’s definitely something we wish the iPhone could do. A feeling that Motorola and Verizon are banking on you sharing given their Microsoft-esque campaign. But the deeper question here is will Verizon’s association with this phone hamper the alleged deal-making they’re in with Apple to start carrying the iPhone….... Read more
