If you hardly know anyone with a Blu-ray player, it’s understandable. There aren’t tons of movies yet on Blu-ray, plus the prices continue to fall so what’s the rush? The only kind of wires we like these days are ones used to send us money. Indeed, the wires used to connect gadgets, while purposeful, are ugly, annoying and about to be obsolete…if a technology company called Belkin has anything to do about it.... Read more

Yesterday we were having a cross-dressing, gender bending gadgety day and this morning everything old feels new again. While Blu-ray and HD DVD have been battling it out, kinda, as our next format of choice (though Blu-ray seems to have won) iTunes sneaked in and carved out a niche for itself with downloaded films and TV shows. For us, these films play on our iPod and make traveling a lot less boring, but what happens if you want to watch some of those films at home?... Read more
