So hey gang, we finally got some time to review the BlackBerry Curve II (8900). Sure we know there are already new Blackberries already on the horizon, but this is our take on this hot tamale. Upon first glance the noticeable difference between this Curve II and the first edition is the sleek, modern black design (hot!), raised keys and the new software that you’ll find on the BlackBerry Bold. A bit of geeky joy embraced iPhone zealots this week as AT&T announced free WiFi hotspot access at places like Starbucks and Barnes and Noble (gay hotspots, need I add, in their own right). But it probably slipped past the Apple fanboys that AT&T is also offering this free access for BlackBerry users too.... Read more
While it’s true that I care for my iPhone with uncommon lust, I readily admit it’s not a perfect experience, both on the hardware side and because of the oft spotty service from the sole U.S. carrier, AT&T. What the iPhone has done, though, is kick into high gear all handset makers to make a better all-in-one phone. For the gays who hate AT&T and won’t give up their Blackberry for love or money, you will shortly have a very noteworthy option via Verizon and the quad-band(!) Blackberry Storm.... Read more
