A PENTAX FOR THOSE NOT LIGHT IN THE WALLET

A New Digital Frame Worth Mentioning


Digital picture frames are old news but Casio has put a new spin on it with the Digital Art Frame recently unveiled at CES. The10.2-inch, WSVGA color LCD frame has a series of special effects that can transform snapshots into pieces that look like paintings.Users can create up to eight different styles of art from a photo: Water Color Painting, Color Pencil Sketch, Pastel Painting, Pointillism, Air Brush, Oil Painting, Gothic Oil Painting, and Fauvist Oil Painting. The device has 2GB of internal memory, two SD cards slots, a USB output, and wireless LAN connectivity. It will be available this spring but the price hasn’t been announced yet.... Read more

Vivaz! Says Sony Ericsson.


We’re not sure what exactly Sony Ericsson means by “Vivaz” but lovers of multi-media phones, especially phones that double as nice cameras, will certainly be experiencing a joi de vivre with the announcement of their new such toy. With its HD-capable, 8.1 Megapixel camera with face detection that can shoot 720p video the Vivaz also features 8GBs of storage, a 3.2” screen, out of the box Facebook and Twitter integration, and a plethora of other bells and whistles you can read about in the release below.
