Zune HD always mystified us…not for its design or its features, but more so because no one ever thought of taking this little device and stuffing it with phone capabilities. But it looks that as of Christmas time 2010 we’ll have just that with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 Series. Destined to be a complete overhaul of their phone software, it will take a more lifestyle-centric approach while remaining productivity-friendly. Rather than using a convention icon-based layout, Windows Phone 7 has a more organic layout with rich animations and real-time updates based on your social media feeds and messages. Why you can’t truly multitask on the iPhone will forever remain one of those Apple mysteries (or conspiracies), but thanks to a new app you can enjoy more convenient multitasking during Web surfing. We’re not sure what exactly Sony Ericsson means by “Vivaz” but lovers of multi-media phones, especially phones that double as nice cameras, will certainly be experiencing a joi de vivre with the announcement of their new such toy. With its HD-capable, 8.1 Megapixel camera with face detection that can shoot 720p video the Vivaz also features 8GBs of storage, a 3.2” screen, out of the box Facebook and Twitter integration, and a plethora of other bells and whistles you can read about in the release below. Coming with a 62 degree lens, the goggle enables users to capture images while swimming and playing under water up to 15ft below the surface. Ford isn’t dead yet! The American car manufacturer announced their radically revised new instrument panels for driving in a digital world and it’s looking pretty darn cool. Completely integrating the car’s interface with other devices and services, the brand will introduce the system, called MyFord, not just in their high-end vehicles but across the line starting with the 2011 MyTouch Lincoln MKX (might wanna rethink that name) and the Ford Edge models....
