Zune HD always mystified us…not for its design or its features, but more so because no one ever thought of taking this little device and stuffing it with phone capabilities. But it looks that as of Christmas time 2010 we’ll have just that with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 Series. Destined to be a complete overhaul of their phone software, it will take a more lifestyle-centric approach while remaining productivity-friendly. Rather than using a convention icon-based layout, Windows Phone 7 has a more organic layout with rich animations and real-time updates based on your social media feeds and messages. But face it, you probably paid a good penny for that iPhone of yours and maybe you don’t want to lose it the second the Tablet is announced.
