We haven’t spoken about a walkman seriously since the 1980′s. Sony quite got it right with their transition into digital music, but we have to admit that we quite like what we see in their new E Series Walkman. The most important things to note here are the battery life and price. At $70 you get a 4GB player (or 8GB for just $80) that boasts a very impressive 50 (!!!) hour battery life as well as 10 hours of video playback. That’s ten bucks more than an iPod Shuffle and you get a screen.
